I love quotes, nature, and my family!
“Most anthologists of quotations are like those who eat cherries or oysters: first picking the best ones and winding up by eating everything.” ~Sébastien-Roch Nicolas Chamfort, 1825

"Be the master of your fate, be the captain of your soul, but do not hesitate, should the chance befall you, to be the slave of your heart." ~Robert Brault
Thank you so much for your quotes! I used several of them on my Thanksgiving post: http://lauranicoledesign.blogspot.com/2010/11/thanksgiving-table-settings.html
Here are some of my favorite quotes from the novel, Middlemarch.
"She did not know then that it was Love who had come to her briefly, as in a dream before awakening, with the hues of morning on his wings." -page 519
"I never felt it a misfortune to have nothing till now," he said. "But poverty may be as bad as leprosy, if it divides us from what we most care for." -page 517
And my favorite quote in the novel so far: "I shall never forget you. I have never forgotten any one whom I once knew. My life has never been crowded..." -page 515 (I think this one of the most beautiful statements I have ever read.)
Beautiful. Thanks so much for posting!
